Orginally hailing from England, Andrew is an experienced instructor and dive store manager.

He has dived extensively around the world, favourite dive locations outside of New Zealand include the wrecks of Scapa Flow, Truk Lagoon and the reefs and critters of North Sulawesi.

Andrew dives extensively on his Inspiration rebreather. 

His personal career highlights include;

• Being only the third diver ever to successfully dive the Port Kembla wreck sitting in 96m of water off farewell Spit. 
• In 2016 he was part of an elite group of divers tasked with filming and diving the wrecks of the Java Sea for a Dutch Documentary, his footage was also later used by National Geographic.
• In 2018 he joined a very select group of divers to have successfully dived the USS Atlanta wreck, sitting in 130m in Solomons.
• In 2022 he was part of the dive team that found and surveyed a missing US Catalina aircraft for Sealark Expeditions in Vanuatu.
• In 2023, again with Sealark, he and buddy Pete Mesley were the lead divers in a historic expedition in the Solomons where they surveyed and then recovered remains of MIA crew of another lost aircraft.
• In 2026 he was part of the team that broke a world record for the deepest Arterial Blood Sample taken underwater, with Prof Simon Mitchell and Dr Richard "Harry" Harris

He is a qualified to Advanced Trimix level and teaches to OC Trimix and CCR Advanced Trimix 100 level. Most recently he tried his hand at cave diving and holds the Advanced CAve diver cert with the Australian Cave Diving association.

Other passions outside of diving include Mountain Biking, which he competed competetively during the 90's,
