Australia Caves with Dive Adventures

Mount Gambier has some of the most spectacular cave and cavern diving in the world. The crystal-clear fresh waters make it feel as though you are effortlessly floating through space.

This is an exclusive Global Dive trip in conjunction with our friends at Dive Experiences, based in Mt Gambier. Just a single short flight from Auckland with only 2 hours time difference, makes for an easy trip with minimal disruption to your busy schedule.

Already a cave diver? Come and join us for a spectacular week exploring some of Mount Gambier’s finest caves. 

We arrive in Melbourne where we will pick up rental cars to drive to South Australia (approximately 5 hours) to Mount Gambier - the cave diving capital of Australia, where we will spend the next 6 nights.

We will dive every day for the following 5 days and then transfer back to Melbourne. We then spend the night in the city and fly back to Auckland the following morning.

For the basic cave course, we require our divers to be certified advanced open water with training and experience in sidemount or twins.

All divers must hold valid Dive Insurance before departing.

Please note: The following costs are not included in the trip price

- Airfares

- Transfers from Melbourne to Mt Gambier  (we will arrange rental vehicles and the costs will be split equally between the group -  typically around $500-$600 per person)

- Course and certification fees if doing cave diving raining on the trip

- Meals (We usually have a mixture of meals at the Habby, take out deliveries, and meals at local pubs and restaurants)

- Air fills in excess of the 2 included per day, and any other gas mixes used (payable directly to Dive Experience)
