Kate began diving in 2012 when she lived in Hong Kong, she dived all over South East Asia until she relocated to windy Wellington in 2017. Here she found the cold waters didn't dampen her love of diving, only encouraged it. She was teaching as a full time instructor until the warm weather of Auckland called her north. She followed the well-trodden path into technical diving and developed a passion for underwtaer photography. Kate loves wreck diving and can often be found taking pictures of pretty much everything with her Sony A6000 and is set to soon be our newest CCR diver.

Kate has continued to dive all over Asia and the Pacific including Philippines, Indonesia, Tonga and New Caledonia as well as exploring her back-yard here in NZ.  Her happy place is the Poor Knights Islands.
