David Pearce
Dave is a kiwi who started diving in Wellington last century (in 1999) and since then has dived extensively in New Zealand and around the world. He became a PADI Divemaster in 2011 and spent several years working as a part time dive guide on a charter boat around the outer islands of the Hauraki Gulf. In early 2017 he became a PADI instructor in order to spend more time diving, and to share his love of the sport with new divers and those wanting to extend their skills. He also enjoys continuing to extend his own skills through ongoing dive training and experience.
David particularly enjoys wreck diving and underwater photography. He is also a keen technical diver who dives both open circuit sidemount and closed circuit rebreather systems. He is passionate about the underwater environment, and taking steps to preserve it for future generations.
