The Scubapro Hydros Pro 2 builds on the legendary reputation of the original Hydros Pro and takes it to the next level. Designed for divers who demand uncompromising performance, comfort, and durability, the Hydros Pro 2 combines cutting-edge materials with a fully modular design that adapts to almost any dive environment — from local shore dives to global travel adventures.

At the heart of the Hydros Pro 2 is Scubapro’s fabric-free Monprene® harness, paired with a new heavy-duty quick-dry bladder featuring Instant Dry Technology. This innovative construction sheds water almost immediately after the dive, reducing post-dive weight and making packing for travel faster and easier.

The all-new Monorail weight system offers smooth, single-handed operation, allowing weight pockets to slide securely into place and lock with confidence. When it’s time to release, a simple pull of the grey D-handle does the job cleanly and intuitively. 

A redesigned Ergo-Lite back plate, now 25% lighter than the previous version, delivers outstanding comfort and stability. Its body-contoured shape, soft padding, and dual top-and-bottom carry handles make tank handling and two-handed lifting easy, even with heavier steel cylinders.

Underwater, the Hydros Pro 2 truly shines. Its 3D ergonomic design hugs the body for a near weightless feel, while the torso flex zone automatically adapts to your body length, allowing complete freedom of movement. An unrestricted internal airflow design minimises air trapping, meaning you can easily dump air from any position or angle.

The Super Cinch 2 tank band system makes tank changes fast and frustration-free, whether you’re swapping cylinders between dives or switching between aluminium and steel tanks while travelling. Combined with the tri-bungee retraction system, the wing stays compact and streamlined underwater while still delivering excellent lift at the surface.

Near-zero inherent buoyancy means you’ll need less lead overall, giving you better trim, control, and efficiency throughout the dive. Body Grip Gel panels keep the BCD locked comfortably in place, preventing ride-up and shifting, even during dynamic entries or long swims.

True to Scubapro’s philosophy, the Hydros Pro 2 is built to last. Its materials resist abrasion, UV exposure, saltwater, and pool chemicals, while the BC-4-Life modular system allows components to be easily replaced or upgraded - extending the lifespan of your BCD well beyond conventional designs.
