Most anti-fog solutions put the work on the diver - spit, spray, or a factory coating that degrades over time. The Cressi Prisma takes a different approach entirely.

The Fog Stop system is built into the mask itself. Warm, humid air from your nose enters the system and is cooled by external soft heat exchangers built into the skirt - effectively acting as radiators that lower the internal temperature to match the water outside. Moisture condenses and is trapped before it reaches the lens, rather than fogging it. It's a mechanical solution to a problem that's usually handled with chemistry, and it works across the life of the mask rather than fading after a season.

The skirt combines two different materials - a thermoregulating outer section that handles the cooling, and a soft inner seal designed to conform comfortably to your face. The micro-adjustment buckle is mounted on a soft connection point rather than a rigid frame, so you can fine-tune strap tension without distorting the skirt or creating a leak point. The whole mask folds flat for storage, which is useful if you're pushing it into a BCD pocket mid-dive or travelling light.

For divers who need vision correction, the Prisma is compatible with both negative and positive optical lenses. It's also available with UV420 coated lenses that block High Energy Visible light and provide 95% ultraviolet protection - worth considering if you're regularly diving in high-UV conditions or spending time at the surface between dives.

Light transmission sits at 92%, giving you clear, colour-accurate vision underwater.
