AP Diving Gas Connector Female (GC1B) with 9/16" UNF

The AP Diving GC1B Female Gas Connector is part of the next-generation High-Flow, Dry-Connect-Underwater Gas Connector System (Series B), launched in March 2024. Designed for demanding divers and modern rebreather configurations, this upgraded connector delivers smoother gas flow, safer underwater connection, and improved long-term reliability.

Engineered as the female end used on the GC1B/30 hose assembly, the GC1B connects seamlessly to the GC2B male connector from AP’s Series B system. It also attaches to any standard 9/16" UNF second-stage swivel hose, making it compatible with a wide range of regulator hoses.

High-Flow Breathing Performance

The Series B system introduces a mechanically-activated valve design inside both male and female connectors. This produces significantly higher gas flow and is EN250-rated to 50 metres, ensuring smooth, stable breathing performance even under high demand.

True Dry-Connect Capability

Both connectors automatically seal when disconnected, preventing water from entering the line. This eliminates the common “water slug” pushed toward the second stage, reducing the risk of:

Cold-water freeflows

Internal corrosion

Moisture-related deterioration

Performance fluctuations

You can safely connect or disconnect the system underwater with or without pressure in the hose.

Important Compatibility Note

The Series B connectors are NOT compatible with the older AP (Series A) Gas Connector System, including AutoAir connectors.

?? Critical Safety Warning

The GC3 Flowstop MUST NOT be used in-line with the Series B Gas Connector System for open-circuit use. Doing so will significantly reduce breathing performance.
