Dry Suit Diver

There is no excuse to not dive in cooler water. All you need is the right thermal protection for the conditions. Drysuit diving is all about staying comfortable in relation to the temperatures you want to dive in - both in and out of the water.

Here in New Zealand’s temperate waters, we want to make sure that we are not being driven out of the water due to being too cold. Diving in a drysuit is the best way to make sure this doesn’t happen. There are a range of different materials and undergarments to suit every divers thermal needs.

Once you have mastered diving in a drysuit you can extend your diving season, visit cooler dive sites worldwide, stay for longer in cooler waters, or just stay comfortable on multi dive days. Don’t miss out on seeing amazing wildlife or seasonal changes on your favourite dive sites.

TESTIMONIALS

Wanted to give you my feedback after trying the suit last night.
1. Training Absolutely superb. Simon's instruction was awesome, he was really patient and supportive while watching us being silly in the pool and knocking his mask off the face.
2. Drysuit Awesome and very satisfied with it.

Hi Anna, Andrew and co

I've certainly been visible around here with my Gorillas, and my Legend reg and Cobra 3 have also been much admired (thank you Andrew). The ship supplies good Aqualung gear but no computers, and I've been very glad of my full wetsuit, hood and boots - even tho' the water is a balmy 26-27C plenty of people are feeling the cold (they've obviously never dived in NZ in neoprene!)
I just had to email you to tell you what a wonderful experience it has been for me. Thank you both for your patience in helping me on my diving journey. Only one more dive here then the Poor Knights the weekend after we're home. I need to add that I have been frog-kicking successfully and in much better control of my buoyancy (at long last!) even doing fin pivots just because I could.

Look forward to catching up in the shop next week.

Regards
Ann

Hi Anna, Andrew,

A big thanks again from me and Michaela for yesterday - not sure we’d say we enjoyed Lake Pupuke but we enjoyed the course!

Hi Anna,

Me again. I just wanted to let you know that I passed my IE on the weekend. It was a full on 2 weeks that exploded my brain. But made it in the end.

The reason I say this is not to brag, but to say thank you to you and Andrew. I got top marks in all my skills and teaching, which comes down to the way that I was trained. I’m proud to say I came from Global Dive.

The course director told everyone that he could tell I had been trained well. So just wanted to say thank you and pass that on, that your standards are holding high compared with overseas.

Also being around technical divers and having done my dry suit, all that adds up and helped me get through.

So thanks again.
