Scuba Saturday - Leigh Coast
We run our Scuba Saturdays at Goat Island (weather permitting) or another location on the Leigh Coast. This is when we take our Open Water classes out for their training dives and we invite certified divers to head up on the same day. Our instructors are training but can give certified divers briefings on the best way to navigate the site, and can assist with organising buddies amongst the other certified divers who may be attending on the day.

Timing for Scuba Saturday may vary with tides or we may need to alter our arrangements for our training group due to adverse conditions on site. We would make a call on Friday and let those certified divers who have registered for Scuba Saturday know then.
This trip is aimed at all certified divers (Open Water certification through to Rebreather). However there is no guiding service available so you must be self sufficient. New Zealand is temperate water diving and you must have dived within the last 12 months – contact us if you need a refresher. All divers must dive within their certification limits.
Please make sure you have read and signed the recreational diver medical form in the documents tab, and if you have any concerns (answer yes to any of the questions) regarding your fitness to dive that you have written medical clearance from your doctor prior to the trip start date.
